Bob Brooks, who broadcast University of Iowa athletic events for over 57 years, passed away Saturday. He was 89.

Gebeshian Realizes Olympic Dream

University of Iowa women's gymnastics alum Houry Gebeshian, who competed for the Hawkeyes from 2008-11, has earned the prestigious honor of competing on the world's largest competitive stage at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The all-arounder is the first and only female gymnast to represent the Republic of Armenia and will compete as an individual this August.

Football Mini Ticket Packages on Sale June 27

The University of Iowa Athletics Department announced that three-game ticket packages for the 2016 football season at Kinnick Stadium will be available for purchase for 10 days beginning Monday, June 27 and ending Wednesday, July 6.

Hawkeyes Coach for College

Junior rower Danielle Bender and senior diver Samantha Wagner will represent the Hawkeyes this summer in Hoà An and Thuận Hưng, Vietnam, with the Coach for College program for three weeks beginning in late July.
