930 Stadium Drive
Iowa's indoor practice and competition facility is the multi-million dollar University of Iowa Recreation Building. Located within walking distance of the University's west-side dormitories, Kinnick Stadium and Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the Recreation Building houses a six-lane mondo-Turf circuit that was resurfaced in 2011.
The Recreation Building also houses renovated Locker rooms, weight training and athletic training space for the Iowa track and field, and cross country teams.
The Hawkeyes hosted the Big Ten Indoor Men's Championships in 1989, 1997 and 2006, and the Big Ten Indoor Women's Championships in 1991 and 2004 at the facility.
