2011-12 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GAME DAY INFORMATION


Welcome to another exciting season of women's college basketball at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. As we continue our effort to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests of the Iowa Hawkeyes, we ask that you please take a moment to review the policies and procedures.

We hope you enjoy your visits to Carver-Hawkeye Arena and we thank you for your outstanding support.

NOTICE

Persons guilty of drunkenness or possessing or drinking intoxicants in the Arena will be ejected without refund.

The following items are not allowed into Carver-Hawkeye Arena: alcoholic beverages, backpacks, banners and signs, coolers, canned or bottled beverages, outside food, thermoses, seat backs, strollers, horns, bugles or any other disruptive device. Admission will be denied to anyone carrying such items.

Small purses (8.5" x 11"), fanny packs, binoculars and small cameras will be allowed into Carver-Hawkeye Arena. All items will be searched. Purses larger than 8.5" x 11" will be thoroughly searched (items removed) at specific entrances which will delay admittance to the Arena. Patrons are also subject to search. The University reserves the right to refuse entry and /or reserves the right to eject anyone not adhering to Arena policies.

NO SMOKING IN CARVER-HAWKEYE ARENA

The University of Iowa is a smoke-free campus. Consistent with the Smoke-Free Air Act, Chapter 142D, Code of Iowa, that became law in the state of Iowa on July 1, 2008, smoking inside or around Carver-Hawkeye Arena or anywhere on the University of Iowa campus is prohibited. Please respect our campus and respect state law.

FIRST AID

Medical services are available at all UI games. If you need medical assistance, notify the nearest University Police officer, ticket taker or usher. The first aid station is located near section EE on the concourse. If you have health problems or anticipate any special needs, please contact The University of Iowa Athletics Department at 319-335-9247.

LOST PATRONS

Lost patrons and persons looking for lost patrons should contact any University Police, ticket taker or usher located throughout the Arena or go to Public Safety headquarters near section EE on the concourse.

INFORMATION

ATM: Located on the south concourse near section K.

Elevator: Located in the North vestibule.

Gates: South, West, East, and North entrance gates open 90 minutes prior to start time.

Lost and Found: Located in the Public Safety headquarters and Facility Director's Office. Address later inquiries to the Athletics Department Facility Director's Office, Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Iowa City, Iowa 52242-1020, phone number 319-335-9410.

Rest rooms: Men's and women's rest rooms are located throughout the concourse. Family rest rooms are located on the concourse near sections DD & EE.

Seating: General admission and reserved seating is available.

Seating for Disabled: Located in specified areas on the concourse. Limited seating is also available east and north of the court.

GENERAL TICKET INFORMATION

Youth 5 years and younger receive free admission.

UI Students receive free admission with a valid UI student ID.

The University of Iowa Athletics Department reserves the right to revoke tickets. Holders of tickets to UI athletics events agree to abide by Arena and University policies.

General Will Call: General Will Call ticket window is located at the Athletics Ticket Office located in the North vestibule.

Iowa Student-Athlete and Visiting Team Pass Door: Specified door at North entrance.

DUPLICATE TICKET POLICY

The Athletics Ticket Office will only replace season tickets and single game/meet tickets purchased through the University of Iowa Athletic Ticket Office. This service is only available to the individual who initially purchased the ticket.

Student tickets are not replaceable under any circumstances.

GAME PROGRAMS, CONCESSIONS, NOVELTIES

Game programs will be sold at numerous locations inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Concession stands are located throughout the Arena. Novelty items can be purchased from Herky's Locker Room located on the north side of the Arena or from portable stands at various locations.

PARKING

General public parking is available in the north Dental lot (Lot 33), Lot 75, the Finkbine Commuter lot (Lot 65) and the Kinnick Stadium lot (Lot 43). All parking ramps near Carver-Hawkeye Arena are also available on game days. Parking space for the disabled is located in the west end of the Dental lot (Lot 40) across the street from the south entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Reserved parking for contributors to the UI Athletics Department is located in Lot 46 west of Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Lot 40 east of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Lot-specific parking passes are required for the reserved lots.
