Curious about what it would be like to watch the nationally ranked University of Iowa football team from the outdoor club seat section of the new press box at historic Kinnick Stadium?

Well, one lucky fan of the Hawkeyes who attends one or more select home games of the UI's nationally ranked softball team and its hard-charing baseball team will get that very opportunity.

Fans can enter to win at more than one event, but are asked to register just once per event. "Official" registration forms will be attached to the front page of the Iowa City Press-Citizen on Mar. 30 and again on Apr. 6. Fans can also create their own registration form by printing their name, telephone number and e-mail address on a piece of paper.

All fans of the Hawkeyes attending the following events are invited to enter a drawing to win a pair of tickets to the Iowa football team's home game Nov. 4 against Northwestern. And, instead of sitting in the grandstands of Iowa's prized football facility, the winner and their guest will watch from high-above the playing field in the new outdoor club seat section of the press box.

"Having been on that level of the facility several times during the past 14 months, I can tell you that it's a pretty spectacular view," said Rick Klatt, the UI's associate athletics director for external affairs.

"The fans of the Hawkeyes who have invested in that option and those lucky enough to have the opportunity to watch a game or two from that vantage point are going to be delighted. It's the best of both worlds - the fun of sitting in the elements and hearing everything that you hear in the grandstands while enjoying all the amenities of priority seating."
