IOWA CITY, IA - Approximately 200 University of Iowa men and women's athletes are expected to participate in the 11th annual Hawkeye Day of Caring Sunday (April 25) from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The student-athletes will join Iowa coaches, administrators and staff in working with numerous agencies from around the Iowa City area. Student-athletes will interact with youth at neighborhood centers, clean up local creeks and riverbanks, pull garlic mustard plants from around campus and deliver and sort canned food. Other projects are also on the agenda for the student-athletes.
