Mediacom Agrees to Terms with Big Ten Network

MIDDLETOWN, NY AND CHICAGO -- Mediacom Communications Corp. and the Big Ten Network announced today that they have reached an agreement to carry the Network in time for Saturday's opening of the Big Ten college football season.





"This is a great day for the Hawkeyes. I want to thank our fans statewide for their incredible patience as we made this important transition. I know they will enjoy the programming offered by the Big Ten Network."

Mediacom will launch the Big Ten Network in phases on its expanded basic level of service in states with Big Ten universities. The agreement also includes the network's high-definition and video-on-demand programming. Mediacom customers will be notified when the network becomes available in their community.
