NCAA Regional Highlights 2016 Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa cross country team is hosting the 2016 NCAA Midwest Regional on Nov. 11 at the Ashton Cross Country Course in Iowa City, Iowa.

The women’s 6,000-meter race begins at 11 a.m. (CT) and the men’s 10,000-meter race begins at 12 p.m. The 2016 race marks the second time in program history the Ashton Cross Country Course has hosted an NCAA Regional Meet. The first was in 2005.

“We are excited about the 2016 schedule,” UI cross country head coach Layne Anderson said. “Hosting an NCAA Regional will bring the best to Iowa City and we feel our schedule provides us the opportunity to prepare for this incredible challenge.
