Hawkeye Duo Fall in Round of 64 in ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. — Jake Jacoby and Will Davies represented the University of Iowa men’s tennis team on day two of the ITA All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
 
The Round of 64 got under way with Jacoby winning the first set against Mathieu Scaglia of Oklahoma State, 6-2, but the Hawkeye senior dropped the final two sets, 6-3, 6-1. 

Davies put together two nice wins Saturday but had a daunting task against the No. 7 seed from Oklahoma. Ferran Calvo defeated Davies, 6-2, 6-3, ending his singles run in Tulsa. 
 
Senior Josh Silverstein will compete Monday in the Singles Qualifying Draw.
