3 Hawkeyes Head to Indy for Phillips 66 National Championships

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Three University of Iowa men’s swimmers — seniors Thomas Rathbun and RJ Hemmingsen and sophomore Will Scott — will compete at the Phillips 66 National Championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis from June 27-July 1. 
 
Rathbun will compete in the preliminaries of the 200-meter backstroke on Wednesday, while Hemmingsen and Scott will swim in the prelims of the 50-meter freestyle on Saturday. 
 
The championships will enjoy wall-to-wall television and digital coverage via NBC Sports and USASwimming.org.  Each day’s prelims will be streamed in its entirety at USASwimming.org, while NBCSN, Universal HD, and NBC will have either live or tape-delayed coverage throughout the week.
