HEAR FROM COACH SHYMANSKY
“I thought we played really sharp most of the way through the match. We had so many tight moments there at the end, and I really appreciated the bounce back of our woman tonight after last night’s tough loss. We played so much sharper. We were very offensive. I like how we hit. We kind of faltered there in the last, ran out of steam a little bit, but I really think we’ve got something.”

“We’ve worked in this new lineup this weekend, getting into the meat of the Big Ten. We just knew that we didn’t want to stay the same and be medium. Let’s not stay the same and just be halfway and be in the middle of the conference. Let’s find a way to really excel and get toward the top. I really liked what Taylin Alm gave us off the bench as a blocking presence. I definitely liked what Claire Sheehan was doing for us as a passer and hitter. Kelsey O’Neill was great for us in the middle. Jess Janota had a stellar stat line with seven kills on 16 swings with no errors. She was really good tonight. We just didn’t stop their premium hitters. So we have work to do, but I’m really looking forward to taking on Michigan here on Wednesday night.”
