05/04/2012 Hawkeyes Crown 2 at Messersmith InviteHawkeyes finalize competition at UNI. 01/14/2012 Hawkeyes Shine at Season OpenerTrack and Field Teams combine to win 24 events. 2012 -- Indoor - placed fourth in shot put with a collegiate-best 53-3 at New Year's Classic... placed seventh in shot put at Iowa Invite (52-10 1/2, 16.11m), 10th at Iowa State Classic (51-10) and 21st at Big Ten Championships (52-1, 15.87m). 2011 -- Track - did not compete. High School -- set school record in discus (186-6) and shot put (57-11 1/2)... placed second in discus and fourth in shot put at 2010 state meet, and third in discus at 2009 state meet... runner-up in discus and shot put at 2010 Drake Relays... three-time conference champion, leading team to two conference titles... coached by Dave Waskow and John Turpin. Personal -- born May 21, 1991... son of Doug and Karen Carman... pre-business major.
