Outdoor - placed seventh in hammer throw (176-8) and shot put (54-4) at Musco Twilight IX... placed 13th in hammer (174-10) and 15th in shot put (52-3 3/4) at Big Ten Championships... letterwinner.

2006 -- Indoor - runner-up in weight throw with a season-best 48-4 1/2 at Jack Johnson Classic... Outdoor - placed sixth in shot put (56-8 3/4) at Big Ten Championships... that mark was a collegiate best and qualified for NCAA regional... threw season-best hammer (173-9) at Messersmith Invite... won shot put (53-3 1/2) at Kip Janvrin Open... letterwinner.

2005 -- Track - redshirted... placed 12th in hammer throw (167-7) at USATF Junior Nationals.

High School -- two-time conference shot put champion... placed 18th in shot put at state meet senior year... team won three conference titles... set school records in indoor and outdoor shot put (55-11 1/2, 57-11)... second-team all-conference linebacker and fullback for football team senior year... National Honor Society member... track team captain as a junior and football team captain senior year... coaches were Brian Marrtz and Brad Wymer.
