04/27/2012 Hawkeyes Send Three Events to FinalsHawkeyes compete in day two of the Drake Relays. 04/21/2012 Hawkeyes Capture 14 Titles at Musco TwilightIowa Hosts 13th annual Musco Twilight. 03/03/2012 Mincy, Banse Record First Place FinishesHawkeyes compete at Iowa State Qualifier. 02/29/2012 Hawkeyes Head to Last Chance QualifierIowa sends athletes to Alex Wilson Invitational and Iowa State Qualifier. 02/17/2012 Austin Captures Two Titles at Iowa InvitationalHawkeyes record 15 first place finishes. 2012 -- Indoor - placed 15th in 600 meters with a collegiate-best 1:19.82 at Big Ten Championships... placed third in 600 meters at New Year's Classic (1:21.49), fifth at Iowa Invite (1:20.92) and sixth at Adidas Classic (1:21.57)... placed 11th in 800 meters at Razorback Invite (1:54.98) and 12th at ISU Qualifier (1:54.33)... placed seventh in 600 yards (1:12.42) at Iowa State Classic. 2011 -- Track - did not compete. 2010 -- competed for Northern Iowa... best time was 1:54.03 in 800 meters. High School -- four-time all-conference and three-time elite all-state... named the conference's most valuable following his senior season... eight-time state qualifier... won 800 meters at state meet, anchoring the state champion distance medley (3:28.08) to the third best time in the nation... set school records in 800 meters and as part of 800-meter and distance medley relays... also lettered in football... coached by Dennis Roloff. Personal -- born August 27, 1990... son of Stuart and Kathy Slaymaker... health and human physiology major.
