Thode Competes at NCAA Championships

Men's Individual Results TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- University of Iowa junior Jeff Thode finished 78th at Monday's NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championships at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. Thode finished the 10,000 meter race with a time of 30:38.5. Big Ten- foe Wisconsin won the team championship, while Arizona freshman Lawi Lalang won the individual title with a time of 28:44.1. The Hawkeye track and field team opens its season Jan. 14 at home with a dual meet against Illinois.
