Fricke Rounds Class Recruiting Class

University of Iowa head coach Rick Heller announced the addition of Zach Fricke to the 2015 Hawkeye baseball recruiting class. Fricke, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound catcher/right-handed pitcher, is a sophomore at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC).

Iowa Baseball Signs Top Class in B1G

University of Iowa head coach Rick Heller announced the signing of a 13-player recruiting class that will join the Hawkeye baseball program in 2016. The class, which has 11 players ranked among the top-500 prospects, is ranked No. 1 in the Big Ten Conference and as the 40th-best class nationally by Perfect Game.

B1G Tournament Returns to Omaha in 2016, 2018

The Big Ten Conference announced that TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska, will once again serve as the host venue for the Big Ten Baseball Tournament in 2016 and 2018 after setting record attendance numbers last season.

Iowa Releases 2015 Schedule

Second-year head coach Rick Heller announced the details of the University of Iowa baseball team's 53-game 2015 schedule Monday. The Hawkeyes will play 14 games against NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago.
