Mississippi Valley Confernece Player of the Year as a junior... three-time first team all-state and two-time all-state Super Team... hit .340 with 11 home runs as a senior... struck out 243 batters in sophomore and junior years... led Kennedy High School to back-to-back conference titles and a runner up finish in the state tournament as a junior... four-year letterwinner and first team all-state selection in bowling... bowled two 300 games.
