2012 -- Appeared in 44 games, the second-most among Hawkeye freshmen and the fourth-most on the team... started 35 games, 25 in center and 10 in left... led-off 10 times... hit .283 overall, recording 36 hits in 127 at-bats... scored 11 runs and tallied 13 RBIs... walked four times and was hit-by-pitch six times... tallied eight sacrifice bunts, which ranked second on the team, and three sacrifice flies, which tied for the team lead... swiped seven bases, ranking fourth on the team... had a perfect fielding percentage (1.000) and 92 putouts... notched nine multi-hit games, including a season-best four-hit contest against Penn State (April 20)... registered two multiple-RBI games... hit .302 in conference play... enjoyed a season-high reached-base streak of seven games... hit .350 with runners on base, .400 with runners in scoring position and went 3-for-6 with the bases loaded... batted .311 as a lead-off hitter... went 2-for-2 as a pinch hitter... notched seven two-out RBI... saw first career action in season-opening win over Pittsburgh (Feb. 17), tallying first career hit and RBI.
