2014 -- Appeared in 33 games with 26 starts behind the plate... hit .313 (31-of-99) with 18 runs and seven RBIs... posted a .409 on-base percentage and was 4-for-5 on the base paths... took over as Iowa's primary catcher after Trevor Kenyon went down with an injury... hit a team-best .344 (22-of-64) in Big Ten play, ranking 10th in the conference... had nine multi-hit (seven two-hit, one three-hit and one four-hit) games... had a seven-game hitting streak and a 10-game reached base streak during the season... hit .308 (4-of-13) with five runs at Purdue (5/15-17)... went 3-for-6 with a run and RBI in the finale... posted a .417 (5-of-12) average with three runs at Ohio State (5/3-5)... went 2-for-5 with three runs in Iowa's 17-2 victory in game two... hit .364 (4-of-11) with two runs and one RBI in three games against South Dakota State (4/25-26)... hit .400 (4-of-10) with four total bases, two RBIs, and two runs scored in series against Minnesota (4/18-20)... went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored in game two... hit .429 (6-of-14) in three games against Northwestern with three runs, and one double (4/11-12)... posted two-hit games in all three contests... went 1-for-2 with a run and RBI double in a 12-7 win over Kansas (4/9)... recorded an RBI double and a run scored against Kansas (4/9)... made his second start against Indiana (4/6), finishing 2-for-4 for his first career multi-hit game... made his first career start behind the plate in the series finale at Austin Peay (2/16).
2013 -- One of seven true freshman to see playing time... played in 10 contests, making one start... earned first collegiate start March 8 against Maine, going 1-of-4 with an RBI... the hit and RBI vs. Maine were both career-firsts... made season and collegiate debut March 2 at UALR, pinch-hitting in the ninth inning.
High School -- Earned all-conference, senior conference all-star and all-area honors as a senior after hitting .365 with 30 RBIs, nine doubles, one triple and one home run... also had a .487 on-base percentage... selected as the team MVP as a senior... team finished season ranked No. 3 in state rankings... two-time team captain... honorable mention all-conference and all-area honoree as a junior... team defensive player of the year in 2011 and selected to the summer all-tournament team... hit .345 with 28 RBIs and one long ball... earned all-conference and was an all-area player to watch as a sophomore... holds the Maine South record for most career wins (79)... led team to conference and regional titles in 2010 and 2012... team was sectional champions in 2010 and super sectional runner-ups in 2010 and 2012... played summer ball for the Morton Grove Mustangs... also was a part of three state champion football teams, earning honorable mention all-area as a junior and all-conference and honorable mention all-area honors as a senior... honor roll all four years and was a scholar athlete in football and baseball... high school coach was Bill Milano.
