IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa baseball team will take on Bradley for the second Wednesday in a row, this time at Dozer Park in Peoria, Ill., beginning at 6:30 p.m. (CT).

The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 15-9 overall and a 3-3 Big Ten record after dropping 2-of-3 game last weekend at Michigan. All three games were decided by two runs or less.

The Braves are 15-8 overall and 1-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference after being swept in three home games against Dallas Baptist last weekend at Dozer Park. Bradley was out-scored 34-15 in the series.

Junior left-hander Andrew Hedrick will get the start for the Hawkeyes. The Ankeny, Iowa, native is 2-2 with a 5.82 ERA in five appearances (three starts) this season. The Braves will counter with junior left-hander David Koll, who is 2-2 with a 4.50 ERA in eight appearances (six starts). Koll has allowed 19 runs (15 earned) on 21 hits in 30 innings, where he has 30 strikeouts against 15 walks.

Bradley claimed the initial meeting March 26, downing the Hawkeyes, 7-0, at Banks Field. The Braves got eight shutout innings from sophomore right-hander Elliot Ashbeck, and the Bradley pitchers limited the Hawkeyes to six hits. The Braves led 1-0 heading into the eighth before scoring six runs to blow the game open.

Audio of the game can be heard via Hawkeye All-Access on with Brent Balbinot handling the play-by-play.

Iowa will return to Big Ten play Friday, hosting No. 24/28 Indiana in the first of a three-game series at Banks Field.
