IOWA CITY - Due to expected rain in the Iowa City area, tonight's baseball game between Western Illinois and Iowa slated for 6:30 p.m. at Duane Banks Field has been cancelled. The contest will not be rescheduled.

This marks only Iowa's second contest of the season washed out by rain (at Northwestern on April 19).

Iowa concludes its home portion of the schedule this weekend in a three-game series vs. Penn State, Friday-Sunday at Duane Banks Field. Game one is set for a 6 p.m. first pitch Friday night.
