IOWA CITY, IA -- Steady rain has forced the postponement of the Iowa baseball team's series opener against Purdue tonight at Duane Banks Field.

The Hawkeyes and Boilermakers will play a doubleheader tomorrow starting at 3 p.m. (CDT) at Duane Banks Field.

Entering this weekend's final Big Ten series, the Hawkeyes are in a four-way tie for fifth place in the conference. The top six teams qualify for the Big Ten Tournament, which will be played May 26-29 in Columbus, OH.
