IOWA CITY -

University of Iowa catcher Ben Geelan played in the Northwoods League All-Star game. The Northwoods League is one of the premier summer leagues in the country. Geelan and the North team won 3-2.

The Algona, IA, native went 0-2 in the game.

Last season for the Hawkeyes, Geelan started 33 games and hit .234.
