NCAA Ticket Process Begins Sunday Night

The UI Athletic Ticket Office will begin accepting requests for tickets to the first and second round NCAA Tournament games involving Steve Alford's nationally ranked Iowa Hawkeyes Sunday after the Hawkeyes learn where they will begin play in the 2006 national championship.
Current season tickets holders are invited to place their request for first and second round tickets online at hawkeyesports.com. Non-season tickets holders will be able to place their order online at hawkeyesports.com beginning at 8 a.m, Monday, Mar. 13.

The UI Athletic Ticket Office will accept walk-in requests from current season tickets holders and the general pubic beginning at 9 a.m., Monday, at its location in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The office will also accept telephone requests beginning at that time. Fans of the Hawkeyes interested in placing their order by telephone should call 1-800 IA-HAWKS.
The UI Athletic Ticket Office will accept requests for tickets to first and second round games of the 2006 NCAA Tournament involving the Iowa men's basketball team through 5 p.m., Monday. The office will contact all fans who placed requests but will not be receiving tickets from the UI by e-mail on Tuesday, Mar. 14.
All requests for tickets are subject to availability and orders will be filled based on the UI's ticket priority points system.
Fans of the UI who do receive tickets from the UI Athletic Ticket Office should note that they will be charged for and receive tickets for Iowa's second game in this year's NCAA Tournament only if the Hawkeyes win their first round game. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the site of Iowa's first round game.
The UI Athletic Ticket Office will begin accepting ticket requests for Round 3 (Sweet 16) games of the 2006 NCAA Tournament on Wed., Mar. 15, from current season ticket holders only.
