IOWA CITY, Iowa - Fans of the University of Iowa men's basketball team interested in following Fran McCaffery's Hawkeyes to the Bahamas in November for the Battle 4 Atlantis have a unique travel option: Fly with the team.

The Hawkeyes will charter out of Cedar Rapids on Nov. 26 directly to Nassau. They will return on Nov. 30. Seating on the team plane is limited and can be purchased by contacting Winebrenner Red Carpet Travel at (800) 458-6001 or online at winebrenner.com. Packages that include four nights deluxe accommodations at the Atlantis Paradise Resort, round trip transfers to and from the the resort and the Nassau airport, and tickets to all games played the Hawkeyes in the tournament begin at $1,759 per person.

The UI Alumni Association and Winebrenner Red Carpet Travel also are offering hotel only packages that include game tickets and other amenities. Fans can review each of those offerings online HERE and HERE, respectively.

Iowa will play three games in the Battle 4 Atlantis. Tournament pairings have not announced. The field includes the Hawkeyes, Kansas, Villanova, Wake Forest, Xavier, Texas-El Paso, Tennessee, and Southern Cal. Four of the eight teams saw postseason action last season; Kansas advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16, Villanova fell to North Carolina in the NCAA second round; Iowa was the NIT runners-up, while Tennessee lost in the NIT first round.
