IOWA CITY, Iowa - - Upon returning from a 10-day tour in Rome, Italy and Athens, Greece, members of the University of Iowa men's basketball team were anxious to take a slight break in their schedule before starting play later this month in the Prime Time League.

While Hawkeye players were pleased to win two games on the tour, all members of the team agreed on two things: this team has bonded together as they begin their summer preparation for the 2009-10 season, and, they learned a lot more than basketball while spending the first part of the summer in Europe.
