    IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Fans of the men's basketball program at the University of Iowa curious about how Coach Todd Lickliter plans to fill the point guard position got some of their answers when the team travelled to Europe last month.

    And, according to Pat Harty of the Iowa City Press-Citizen, they received more answers earlier this week when newcomer Cully Payne made his debut in the Prime Time League.

    "Iowa fans would be thrilled if Payne, who is listed at 6-foot-1, could do against Big Ten opponents what he did in the Prime Time League on Monday," Harty wrote in the June 16 edition of the Press-Citizen.

    "The lefty scored 12 points and showed some nifty ball-handling skills while helping to lead Imprinted Sportswear/Goodfellow Printing to an 89-74 victory over Mike Gatens Real Estate/McCurrys at the North Liberty Recreation Center.
