1999 - Named second team all-Big Ten...selected to play in Blue-Gray Classic and Hula Bowl post-season all-star games...ranked sixth in the Big Ten in tackles per game... led Iowa in tackles with 109...became the 46th player in Iowa history to record 200 career stops...recorded 222 career tackles to rank 33rd on Iowa's career tackle chart...had 10 tackles in the loss to Minnesota and he had nine tackles at Wisconsin...his 11 tackles vs. Illinois included one tackle for loss and he also had a pass break-up...had 12 tackles and his first interception of the season vs. Penn State...had 12 tackles and two pass break-ups at Northwestern...had nine tackles at Ohio State...came up with a big defensive play in the win over Northern Illinois, blocking a field goal attempt in the fourth quarter that teammate LeVar Woods returned 87 yards for a touchdown to give Iowa a 17-0 advantage...started 22 straight games over the past two seasons.

1997 - saw action in all 12 games, used mainly as fifth defensive back, and also played on special teams...two interceptions for 126 yards and one touchdown...returned first career interception 70 yards for a touchdown vs. Indiana and had a 56-yard return at Wisconsin...11 solo tackles and seven assists, including one tackle for loss and two pass break-ups...three solo tackles and one assist vs. Northern Iowa, including one tackle for loss...two solo stops and one assist vs. Tulsa...two assists and a pass break-up at Iowa tackle at Ohio State and Michigan...two solo tackles and an assist vs. Purdue...two solo tackles, two assists and a pass break-up at Northwestern.

1996 - listed as second team strong safety throughout the season...saw weekly action as member of special teams and limited duty in defensive secondary...three tackles and one pass break-up.

1995 - redshirted...offensive scout team MVP vs. Iowa State

High school honors - first team all-state, all-area and all-conference as a captain and MVP as senior...Career - passed for 1,533 yards and 17 touchdowns while completing 110 of 192 attempts...rushed for 1,329 yards and 17 touchdowns on 226 attempts...played football all four years...missed three games due to injury during senior campaign...also lettered in baseball and basketball...high school coach was Jim Covert.
