Kinnick Stadium turf receives final touches
June 11, 2009
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- It isn't even the middle of June, but there is already a feeling of football buzzing around Iowa City and more specifically, Kinnick Stadium. The final touches have been applied to the new playing surface and a few rookie student-athletes showed up early to get a behind-the-scenes view of their future Saturday `home away from home.'
