Junior tight end Lucas Cox and sophomore defensive back Marcus Wilson will not be on the University of Iowa football roster when the Hawkeyes report for practice the first week of August. The announcement came today from Head Coach Kirk Ferentz.

Cox, a 6-4, 247-pounder from Springdale, PA, has indicated he will transfer. He saw very little action during his years as a Hawkeye.

Wilson, a 6-2, 200-pounder from Pennsauken, NJ, played in all 13 games last season and was the starting free safety against Purdue and Indiana. He had 21 tackles and one interception last season.
