Game Day: Television, Radio and More
Sept. 17, 2010
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The nationally ranked University of Iowa football team makes its first road trip of the 2010 season Saturday, visiting the campus of the University of Arizona for a 7:30 p.m. Iowa time date with the nationally ranked Arizona Wildcats.
The game features - as mentioned - two nationally ranked teams and is, in fact, the only game this weekend in college football that features two teams that are among the nation's Top 25. Regardless of the outcome, it could also be the first of two meetings for the squads as each are expected to challenge for their respective conference championship and the automatic berth in the 2011 Rose Bowl that comes with that achievement. The 2010 game is the second of a home-and-home series between the schools. Iowa won last year's game in Iowa City by a 27-17 score. The series is knotted at six wins for each program.
