IOWA CITY -- The Big Ten Network has announced the channel assignments for DirecTV and Dish Network for the three Big Ten Conference games that will kickoff shortly after 11 a.m. (Iowa time) this Saturday, a schedule that includes the second home game of the 2007 college football season for the University of Iowa.
The UI will celebrate Homecoming Saturday when the Hawkeyes entertain Indiana inside historic Kinnick Stadium. Subscribers to DirecTV will be able to watch the game on channel 218 while subscribers to Dish Network will find the broadcast on channel 440.
The Big Ten Network's Mark Neely and Glen Mason will call the action from the Paul W. Brechler Press Box and Marshall Harris will provide reports from the sideline.
Fans of the Hawkeyes are also reminded that Iowa's game next week at Penn State will kick off shortly after 2:30 p.m. (Iowa time) and will be televised by ABC to a portion of the country. The game broadcast will also be available on ESPN2 in areas of the country not serviced by ABC.
Iowa's game Saturday will be the Hawkeyes' second appearance on the Big Ten Network. The network is available on the basic level of television service offered by more than 60 locally-owned and locally-operated cable television systems across the state of Iowa, more than 140 cable television systems across the eight-state geographic footprint of the Big Ten Conference and on the nation's two satellite television companies, DirecTV and Dish Network.
The Iowa-Indiana game will be the 70th consecutive game played by the Hawkeyes that will be available on television. It will also be the 26th consecutive sellout of historic Kinnick Stadium.
