Hawkeyes in the NFL: Week 4 Recap

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa football program is tied for ninth in the nation with 24 former players on active NFL rosters. In addition, eight other Hawkeyes reside on practice squads or injured reserve.
Iowa ties Michigan for second in the Big Ten amongst NFL alumni on active rosters. Ohio State leads the way with 35. Iowa has five former tight ends in the league, which equals USC and Stanford for the most.
The NFL continued regular season action over the weekend with its fourth week of games. A number of former Hawkeyes saw action and had success for their respective teams.
Pat Angerer - LB - Indianapolis Colts: Angerer, the leading tackler for the Colts in 2011, has missed the first three games of the regular season after suffering a foot injury in Indianapolis' preseason opener.
Jonathan Babineaux - DL - Atlanta Falcons: Babineaux started his 64th-consecutive game for the Falcons at defensive tackle on Sunday, recording three solo stops, including two tackles for loss, in Atlanta's 30-28 win over Carolina.
Christian Ballard - DL - Minnesota Vikings: Ballard, one of a Big Ten-best six Hawkeyes drafted in 2011, turned in two tackles in Minnesota's 20-13 win at Detroit. The defensive tackle played in all 16 games, with two starts, a year ago. He has played in all four games this season.
Jordan Bernstine - DB - Washington Redskins: Bernstine was moved to the Redskins' injured reserve list after an injury in the season opener.
Bryan Bulaga - OL - Green Bay Packers: Bulaga, in his third season with the Packers, made his 28th career start in Green Bay's 28-27 win over New Orleans.
Scott Chandler - TE - Buffalo Bills: Chandler had a big day for the Bills offense, leading the team with four receptions for 62 yards. He hauled in two touchdown catches, and is tied for the NFL lead with four on the season.
Dallas Clark - TE - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Caught three passes for 15 yards in Tampa Bay's 24-22 loss to Washington.
Adrian Clayborn - DL - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: In his second year in the league, Clayborn is on the Buccaneers' injured reserve list. The former Iowa All-American started all 19 games in his career for Tampa prior to the injury. Clayborn registered 7.5 sacks during his rookie campaign in 2011.
Sean Considine - DB - Baltimore Ravens: Played but did not record any statistics in Baltimore's win over Cleveland on Thursday.
Mike Daniels - DL - Green Bay Packers: Saw action in win over New Orleans, recording no statistics.
A.J. Edds - LB - Indianapolis Colts: In his third year in the league, Edds is on the Colts' injured reserve list.
Bradley Fletcher - DB - St. Louis Rams: Fletcher had the key play in the Rams' 19-13 victory over Seattle. He intercepted a pass at the Rams 20 yardline by Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson with a minute left in the contest to seal the win. Read more on Fletcher's key interception.
Adam Gettis - OL - Washington Redskins: Listed as second team right guard for the Redskins.
Charles Godfrey - DB - Carolina Panthers: Godfrey recorded five tackles, including four solo stops, in Carolina's loss to Atlanta. He ranks 27th in the NFL with 31 tackles. Godfrey became the first rookie in team history to start all 16 games at safety in 2008. He has started 61 of the last 62 games for the Panthers.
Shonn Greene - RB - New York Jets: Led the Jets with 11 carries, registering 34 yards. The former All-American and 2008 Doak Walker Award Winner has started 18 of the last 20 contests.
Chad Greenway - LB - Minnesota Vikings: For the third time this season, Greenway led the Vikings in tackles, recording 11 total tackles in Minnesota's 20-13 win over Detroit. The former Iowa All-American turned in seven solo stops. He ranks second in the league with 44 tackles this season. Read more on Greenway leading the Vikings through tough times.
Brad Herman - TE - New England Patriots: In his first year in the league, Herman is on the Patriots' injured reserve list.
Nate Kaeding - K - San Diego Chargers: Kaeding, the NFL's all-time most accurate field goal kicker (.870), missed San Diego's game Sunday due to injury.
Karl Klug - DL - Tennessee Titans: Recorded no stats in Titans loss to Houston. Klug has appeared in all 20 games for Tennessee during his first two seasons, making one start in each. As a rookie in 2011, Klug compiled a team-high seven sacks. The total tied for sixth place in sacks among all NFL rookies, tied for fourth among all NFL defensive tackles, and led all NFL rookie defensive tackles.
Marvin McNutt - WR - Philadelphia Eagles: In his first year in the league, McNutt is a member of the Eagles practice squad.
Tony Moeaki - TE - Kansas City Chiefs: Moeaki caught three passes for 18 yards in Kansas City's loss to San Diego.
Brandon Myers - TE - Oakland Raiders: Myers registered one reception for 22 yards in Oakland's loss at Denver.
Seth Olsen - OL - Indianapolis Colts: Olsen and the Colts enjoyed a bye week. He has started all three games for Indianapolis this season.
Shaun Prater - DB - Cincinnati Bengals: In his first year in the league, Prater is on the Bengals' injured reserve list.
Riley Reiff - OL - Detroit Lions: Reiff made his first career NFL start on Sunday in the loss to Minnesota. He lined up at tight end on the first play of the game. Reiff has played in all four games for Detroit this season. He was Detroit's first round pick in 2012, marking the third-straight season an Iowa player was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Allen Reisner - TE - Minnesota Vikings: Reisner is currently on the Vikings practice squad. He played in Minnesota's first three games this season.
Amari Spievey - DB - Detroit Lions: Did not play for Detroit against Minnesota due to injury.
Ricky Stanzi - QB - Kansas City Chiefs: Did not see action for the Chiefs.
Jeff Tarpinian - LB - New England Patriots: Tarpinian is a current member of New England's practice squad. He appeared in seven games for the Patriots in 2011.
Julian Vandervelde - OL - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Vandervelde is a member of Tampa Bay's practice squad. He spent the 2011 season with Philadelphia.
Marshal Yanda - OL - Baltimore Ravens: Yanda made his 62nd career start for Baltimore in its 23-16 victory against Cleveland on Thursday night.
Markus Zusevics - OL - New England Patriots: In his first year in the league, Zusevics is on the Patriots' injured reserve list.
