IOWA CITY - University of Iowa running back Dana Brown has been dismissed from the football team for violation of team policies. The announcement came today from Head Coach Kirk Ferentz.

Brown, a 5-10, 203-pound sophomore from Clairton, PA, played sparingly on Iowa specialty teams this year. He gained 16 yards in four rushing attempts last year.
