IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz will meet with media Tuesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. (CT) in the Player's Auditorium in the Hayden Fry Football Complex.
The briefing with local, regional and national media will be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multi-media portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes host No. 24 Wisconsin at 11:06 a.m. (CT) Saturday inside Kinnick Stadium. The game will be televised on ABC (with a reverse mirror on ESPN2) with Sean McDonough, Chris Spielman and Shannon Spake calling the action.
Iowa brings a 5-3 overall and a 2-2 Big Ten record into the contest following its 17-10 overtime victory over Northwestern last Saturday in Iowa City. The Badgers (5-2, 3-1) were idle last week. Wisconsin has Big Ten victories over Illinois (56-32), Northwestern (35-6) and Purdue (41-10), while losing at Ohio State (31-24).
The winner of the Iowa-Wisconsin game will claim the Heartland Trophy. The series is currently tied 42-42-2 with the last meeting coming in 2010 -- a 31-30 Badger win in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes are 24-16-1 in games played in the series at home.
