Hawkeyes in the NFL: Week 17 Recap

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The University of Iowa football program has 27 former Hawkeyes on NFL rosters. The NFL continued its regular season over the weekend. A number of former Hawkeyes saw action and had success for their respective teams.
Jonathan Babineaux - DL - Atlanta Falcons: Babineaux started and recorded four total tackles in the Falcons 21-20 loss to Carolina on Sunday. Babineaux has started the last 92 games for Atlanta.
Bryan Bulaga - OL - Green Bay Packers: Bulaga has been placed on injured reserve. He is in his fourth season with Green Bay, and has made 33 career starts. Bulaga won a Super Bowl ring during his rookie season with the Packers in 2010. The Packers take on San Francisco in the first round of the playoffs on Sunday.
Scott Chandler - TE - Buffalo Bills: Chandler caught three passes for 55 yards in a 34-20 loss to New England on Sunday. Chandler has started 30 of the last 59 games he has competed in for the Bills, including seven of 16 this season.
Dallas Clark - TE - Baltimore Ravens: Clark did not play this Sunday. The former Iowa All-American and John Mackey Award winner is in his first season with the Baltimore Ravens after spending last year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Adrian Clayborn - DL - Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Clayborn recorded a career high 10 total tackles, four of which went for loss, and a sack against New Orleans on Sunday. He has started all 35 games he has appeared in for the Bucs, including all 16 this season.
Colin Cole - DL - Carolina Panthers: After making 13-straight starts for the Panthers, Cole was inactive against Atlanta this week. Cole is with Carolina after spending the past two seasons out of the NFL. In his career, Cole has recorded 233 tackles, and five and a half sacks. Cole and the Panthers earned a first round bye in the 2014 NFL Playoffs.
Mike Daniels - DL - Green Bay Packers: Daniels saw action against Chicago on Sunday. In his first season in the league last year, Daniels recorded 14 tackles while appearing in 15 games. He has played in all 16 games this season. Daniels and Green Bay begin postseason play on Sunday against San Francisco in an NFC Wild Card matchup.
Bradley Fletcher - DB - Philadelphia Eagles: Fletcher, in his first season with the Eagles after four years with the Rams, started on Sunday against Dallas. He recorded seven total tackles and recovered a fumble to help Philadelphia earn a 24-20 victory. Fletcher has started 12 of 16 games this season, and is set to compete against New Orleans in a first round playoff matchup on Saturday.
Adam Gettis - OL - Washington Redskins: Gettis, in his second year with the Redskins, saw action on Sunday. He played in 13 games this season.
Charles Godfrey - DB - Carolina Panthers: Godfrey is out for the season due to injury, missing his first game of the season in week 3. Godfrey, in his sixth season with Carolina, has made 74 career starts. Carolina earned a first round bye in the upcoming playoffs.
Shonn Greene - RB - Tennessee Titans: Greene saw action in the Titans 16-10 victory over Houston on Sunday. The former All-American and 2008 Doak Walker Award Winner is in his first season with the Titans after spending the previous four seasons with the New York Jets. Greene rushed for at least 1,000 yards in his final two seasons in New York.
Chad Greenway - LB - Minnesota Vikings: Greenway notched five tackles in Minnesota's 14-13 victory over Detroit on Sunday. The former Iowa All-American has started 111 of the last 112 games for the Vikings.
Micah Hyde - CB - Green Bay Packers: Hyde, winner of the 2012 Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back of the Year award, started for the Packer's in their 33-28 comeback win against Chicago on Sunday. Hyde also appeared on special teams returning one kickoff for 18 yards. The rookie has played in all 16 contests this season, with three starts, helping the Packers earn a divisional title and a first round playoff matchup with San Francisco on Sunday.
Karl Klug - DL - Tennessee Titans: Klug saw action for Tennessee on Sunday. Klug has appeared in all 48 games for Tennessee during his first three seasons, making one start in each season. As a rookie in 2011, Klug compiled a team-high seven sacks. The total tied for sixth place in sacks among all NFL rookies, tied for fourth among all NFL defensive tackles, and led all NFL rookie defensive tackles.
Marvin McNutt - WR - Carolina Panthers: In his second year in the league, McNutt was signed to the Carolina Panthers active roster in the middle of the season after starting with the Miami Dolphins. McNutt saw action for the first time this season during a 21-20 win over Atlanta on Sunday. McNutt and the Panthers earned a first round bye in the upcoming playoffs.
Tony Moeaki - TE - Buffalo Bills: After suffering from a broken shoulder during the preseason with the Chiefs, Moeaki was signed to the Buffalo Bills active roster late this season. Moeaki saw action for the first time this season on Sunday. Moeaki recorded a total of 80 receptions for a total of 1,009 yards and four touchdowns during his three seasons with the Chiefs.
Brandon Myers - TE - New York Giants: Myers made his 14th start of the season for the Giants on Sunday. Myers, in his first year with the Giants after spending four years with Oakland, has 158 career receptions for 1,578 yards and eight touchdowns.
Shaun Prater - DB - Minnesota Vikings: In his second year in the league, Prater recorded four total tackles in his third consecutive start for Minnesota on Sunday.
Riley Reiff - OL - Detroit Lions: Reiff saw action this week against Minnesota, starting his 16th game of the season for the Lions. He has started 24 career games during his first two seasons in the league. Reiff was Detroit's first round pick in 2012, marking the third-straight season an Iowa player was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Allen Reisner - TE - Jacksonville Jaguars: Reisner has been placed on injured reserve. He started three games this season.
Ricky Stanzi - QB - Jacksonville Jaguars: Stanzi did not play during a matchup with Indianapolis on Sunday.
Jeff Tarpinian - LB - Houston Texans: Tarpinian started and recorded six tackles for Houston on Sunday. Tarpinian has appeared in eight consecutive games for the Texans.
Matt Tobin - OL - Philadelphia Eagles: Tobin, in his first year in the league, saw action for the first time in his career on Sunday. Philadelphia is set for a Wild Card matchup with New Orleans on Saturday.
Julian Vandervelde - OL - Philadelphia Eagles: Vandervelde, in his third year with the Eagles, did not play on Sunday. Vandervelde has seen action in 14 contests this season, and begins postseason action on Saturday against New Orleans.
Marshal Yanda - OL - Baltimore Ravens: Yanda started for the Ravens in their loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. He has made 88 career starts in seven years for the Ravens, including the last 63 games. Yanda has also been selected to compete in the 2014 Pro Bowl, marking his third consecutive selection.
Markus Zusevics - OL - New England Patriots: Zusevics, in his second season with New England, was placed on the injured reserve list. New England earned a first round bye for the upcoming playoffs.
