IOWA CITY, IA - The University of Iowa Men's Gymnastics team was defeated by Minnesota Sunday, in the UI Fieldhouse. The Hawkeyes scored 201.5, while the Gophers posted a 206.0.

Geoff Reins won floor exercise and posted a personal best, 9.5. Reins finished third on vault (8.6). On pommel horse, Curtis Kleffman tied for first, scoring an 8.35 and Bryan Bourland placed third (7.9). Jacques Bouchard finished first on rings, posting 9.35. Jonathan Buese placed third on ring (9.2) and came in second in the all-around.

Iowa will travel to Las Vegas, NV to compete in the Winter Cup Challenge on February 8 and 10. Bouchard, Jonathan Buese, Kleffman and Geoff Reins will be representing the Hawkeyes in the two-day competition.
