Hawkeyes Defeated In Triangular

STANFORD, CA - The ninth-ranked University of Iowa men's gymnastics team fell to fifth-ranked Stanford and second-ranked Penn State Saturday on the campus of Stanford. Iowa scored 204.75, while Stanford posted a 216.7 and Penn State tallied 214.8. On floor exercise, Geoff Reins led Iowa, scoring a 9.3. Reid Urbain posted an 8.7 in the event. Jacob Becker posted a 9.2 on pommel horse, posting a personal best on the event this season. On rings, Jacques Bouchard continued to post high scores, posting a 9.55 and matching his season best score which he set last weekend at Illinois.
