STANFORD, CA - The ninth-ranked University of Iowa men's gymnastics team fell to fifth-ranked Stanford and second-ranked Penn State Saturday on the campus of Stanford.  Iowa scored 204.75, while Stanford posted a 216.7 and Penn State tallied 214.8.

On floor exercise, Geoff Reins led Iowa, scoring a 9.3. Reid Urbain posted an 8.7 in the event. Jacob Becker posted a 9.2 on pommel horse, posting a personal best on the event this season. On rings, Jacques Bouchard continued to post high scores, posting a 9.55 and matching his season best score which he set last weekend at Illinois. Iowa will travel to Norman, OK, to compete against the Oklahoma Sooners March 17. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
