IOWA CITY - Nine University of Iowa gymnasts have been named All-America Scholar Athletes by the College Gymnastics Association. Senior Jacques Bouchard, junior Reid Vancelette and freshman Benjamin Gonsoulin were named to the first team, while senior Bryan Bourland, junior Drew Ignoto, sophomores Jacob Becker and Thomas Buese, and freshmen Geoffrey Reins and Diego Rodrigo were all named to the second team.

To be named to the first team, a student-athlete needs at least a 3.50 GPA, while a second team member must have a GPA between 3.20 and 3.99. There were 55 members on the first team and 56 on the second.
