2004-05 -- swam collegiate bests in 50 free (22.07) and 200 back (1:52.34) at Big Ten Championships... swam collegiate bests in 10-0 free (48.49), 500 free (4:56.51), 100 back (51.94), 100 fly (52.72) and 200 IM (1:57.58) at Iowa Senior Championships... runner-up in 100 (52.95) and 200 back (1:55.71) vs. Truman State and South Dakota... recorded nine top-five finishes... letterwinner.

High School -- won 50 free state title and placed second in 100 free senior year... area, district and region swimmer of the year as a senior... two-time district champion in 200 IM and 500 free... placed second in regional 500 free twice... set school records in 50 free (21.82), 100 free (47.66), 500 free, 100 back (52.83), 200 back (1:53.4), 100 fly, 200 IM and as part of 200 and 400 free and 400 IM relays... runner-up long-course 50 free at Southern Zone Championships as a junior, placing third as a junior... coach was Randy Reese... ran his first 10K race at age 6.
