04/09/2012 Hawkeyes Welcome Back AlumniIowa will host the annual alumni meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. 02/03/2012 Seniors Honored at Last Dual MeetGordon, Partridge, Phelan, Swibes and Tremml ended their dual meet careers Friday night. 02/02/2012 Hawkeye Seniors Laid a Foundation8 UI seniors will be honored prior to Friday night's dual against Western Illinois 11/07/2011 Hawkeyes Thriving EarlyUI men's swimming and diving team is 3-0 on the season; women 2-1 10/20/2011 Phelan Sets Pool RecordSenior Ryan Phelan set a pool record in the 50 free at the Big Ten opener against Wisconsin 2010-11 -- Swam collegiate best times in the 100 fly (50.11) and 200 fly (1:49.47) at the Big Ten Championships...recorded six top-five finishes... named to the Academic all-Big Ten team... letterwinner. 2009-10 -- Led team in 200 fly (1:50.21)... swam collegiate bests in 500 free (4:51.78) at Hawkeye Invite, 200 fly (1:50.21) and 200 IM (1:54.37) at Big Ten Championships... placed 18th in 200 fly (1:50.21) at Big Ten Championships... posted six top-five finishes... letterwinner. 2008-09 -- Led team in 200 fly (1:50.53) and 400 IM (3:59.24)... posted 10 top-five finishes... swam collegiate bests in 200 fly (1:50.53), 200 IM (1:54.42) and 400 IM (3:59.24) at Big Ten Championships... letterwinner. High School -- All-American as a senior, earning two all-state and three all-conference honors... team won state title his junior year... placed second in 100 fly (52.36) junior year... placed second in 200 fly (2:06.54) and fourth in 100 fly (58.67) at 2008 Michigan long course state meet... National Honor Society and student council member... coached by Don Kimble. Personal -- Born Sept. 18, 1989... son of Marilyn Tremml... cinema major.
