THE STAFF

The culture surrounding the University of Iowa swimming and diving program has changed with the completion of the state-of-the-art Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. The consistency with the coaching staff, however, has remained, as Marc Long has been in charge of the program for the past eight seasons.

UI head coach Marc Long has coached the Hawkeyes to 36 school records during his tenure in Iowa City.

It all starts at the top with Long, a UI alum, who is entering his ninth season as the head coach and 13th overall with the program. Associate head coach/recruiting coordinator Frannie Malone has been along side Long in each of his nine seasons, assistant coach Nathan Mundt (fifth year) and diving coach Todd Waikel (first year) and Kristy Brager (first year) round out the staff.
