    The University of Iowa men's tennis team finished competition at the Louisville Invitational Sunday afternoon. The Hawkeyes finished the tournament with 15 total wins in both singles and doubles action.

    Doubles duos Chaitu Malempati and Bart van Monsjou and Scott Elwell and J.P. Ritchie were the only Hawkeyes to compete Sunday. Malempati and van Monsjou fell to Adam Storti and Peter Taylor of Morehead State (9-8) in the semifinals. Elwell and Ritchie played a close match with Michael Huele and James Brannon of Ball State, but ultimately fell 9-8 (9-7).

    The Hawkeyes will compete next in the DePaul Invitational October 15-17.
