IOWA CITY, IA - The Iowa men's tennis program announced today that Greg Holm, a prep athlete from Omaha, Nebraska, has signed a national letter of intent to attend The University of Iowa.

A senior at Creighton Prep High School, Holm has won two individual state titles and has helped his team to three state titles during his four-year high school career. He has been ranked in the top five in the Missouri Valley Section and was the winner of the 2004 Midlands Adult Open singles title.

Holm, who has earned a 4.0 GPA, is the brother of current Hawkeye tennis player Andrew Holm.

"Greg will be a great addition to our program," said Head Coach Steve Houghton. "He is an exceptional student as well as someone I would expect to make an immediate contribution to our team."
