High School -- won 400-meter hurdles state title senior year... conference champion in that event as a junior and runner-up as a senior... best marks were 53.9 in 400-meter hurdles, 15.3 in 110-meter high hurdles and 20-10 in long jump... four-time team MVP... first team all-conference and all-state...
