2008 -- Indoor - competed in 60-meter hurdles (9.07), long jump (20-9) and high jump (6-0) at Jack Johnson Classic... competed in 60 meters (7.55), long jump (20-7 3/4) and shot put (34-3) as part of Big Ten heptathlon... Outdoor - posted collegiate bests in 400 meters at Central Invite (53.83), and 100 meters (11.77)... academic all-Big Ten. 2007 -- Indoor - led team in 1,000 meters (2:44.24)... placed 12th in heptathlon (4,644 points) at Big Ten Championships... Outdoor - did not compete... academic all-Big Ten... letterwinner. 2006 -- Indoor - placed 13th in heptathlon (3,847 points) at Big Ten Championships... Outdoor - redshirted. High School -- placed fifth in pentathlon at state meet senior year... team captain senior year... team MVP as a junior... helped team win two conference titles... lettered four years in track, two in football and one in basketball... second team all-conference in football... National Honor Society member... track coaches were Gary Hollingsworth and Brian Martz. Personal -- born December 6, 1986... son of Bill and Madeline Windauer... his father, played football at Iowa (1969-72), and played defensive tackle for four NFL teams... attended same high school as Hawkeye teammates Nick Brayton and Mark Schaapveld... art major.
