High School -- won Class 2A state cross country title senior year (14:21)... placed fifth in 3,200 meters (9:13.12) at state track meet as a senior... named Athlete of the Meet at 2008 Illinois Prep Top Times Classic after winning indoor mile in a meet record-setting 4:13.72... placed 11th in 1,600 meters (4:13) at 2008 Nike Outdoor Nationals... four-time conference champion, winning two titles in cross country and two in track... four-time first team all-conference in cross country, earning all-state honors in cross country and track as a senior... track all-conference honoree senior year... two-time team captain... set school records in 1,600 meters (4:10), 3,200 meters (9:04), cross country three miles (14:21), and as part of 3,200-meter relay (8:04)... National Honor Society member... coached by Clint Lafary.
