High School -- four-time all-conference in track, earning all-conference cross country honors as a senior... runner-up at regional meet, placing 10th at sectional and conference meet in cross country senior year... placed third in 3,200 meters at indoor conference meet and sixth in same event outdoors as a senior... placed 12th in 3,200 meters at state indoor meet and second at outdoor sectional senior year... cross country team won regional and sectional titles, shared conference title and went undefeated in regular season competition senior year... best times were 9:29.7 in 3,200 meters, 14:32 in cross country 2.85 miles and 15:04 in cross country three miles... track team distance captain senior year... four-year honor roll student... coach was Mike Kuharic.
