IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa head women's basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet the media at 12:30 p.m. (CT) today to preview Sunday's Big Ten home opener against No. 15 Penn State.
The weekly briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The 22nd-ranked Hawkeyes bring a 12-3 overall and 0-1 Big Ten record into Sunday's game against the Nittany Lions. Iowa dropped an 86-84 decision at undefeated Indiana on Jan. 2.
Penn State brings a three-game winning streak into its Big Ten opener, which has improved its record to 9-3. The Nittany Lion losses have come at home against No. 1 Connecticut (71-52) and No. 4/5 Notre Dame (77-67) and on the road at South Dakota State (83-79).
