Taylor, Iowa's lone senior, started all 34 games in 2013 after missing a total of 53 games from 2009-11 due to injury. The St. Paul, Minn., native was named the team's Most Improved Player last season, scoring in double figures in 12 contests. The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds.
Logic, a junior from Racine, Wis., started all 34 games last season and was a third team All-Big Ten selection. The 5-foot-9 guard set the school record for single-season assists (217) and single-game assists (14 vs. Texas, Dec. 28). Logic tallied five double-doubles, and led the Big Ten and ranked 15th in the NCAA in assists per game (6.4).
Iowa -- the only Big Ten team to appear in the last six NCAA Tournaments -- hosts Concordia-St. Paul in an exhibition Sunday at 1 p.m. before opening the regular season in the Hawkeye Challenge on Nov. 8 against UC Riverside (6 p.m.).
