When it comes to staff continuity in Big Ten women's basketball, Iowa sets the mark.

Under head coach Lisa Bluder, the Iowa women's basketball program has played in eight NCAA Tournaments in 11 seasons.

Head coach Lisa Bluder, associate head coach Jan Jensen and assistant coach Jenni Fitzgerald have spent 20 years together, including nine years at Drake and 11 at Iowa. Shannon Gage joined the Hawkeyes in 2003 as director of basketball operations and rejoined the program in 2007 as an assistant coach. She has spent a total of six years with Bluder.

Former Hawkeye Abby Emmert, who played for Bluder from 2005-08, is in her third season as the director of basketball operations.

Bluder is the dean of Big Ten coaches, spending more time at Iowa than any other current Big Ten coach at his or her school.

Bluder has been named Big Ten Coach of the Year three times and has the second most wins in Iowa women's basketball history, trailing only Hall of Famer C. Vivian Stringer. Bluder and her staff have led Iowa to eight NCAA Tournament appearances in 11 seasons and six 20-win seasons. The Hawkeyes have reached the NCAA Tournament and recorded 20 or more wins in each of the last four seasons.
